Tennis icon Billie Jean King on athletes protesting against racial injustice

Tournament play at the Western and Southern Open — a precursor to the U.S. Open next week — was paused on Thursday due to protests from athletes regarding racial inequality and injustice. Tennis’ big event had already been disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Starting Monday, the U.S. Open will be played without an audience for the first time ever, in Queens, New York. Tennis legend and activist Billie Jean King sits down with CNBC’s Joe Kernen to discuss.
